George McPhee is the GM, so I'm certainly more optimistic now after he was hired than before that Las Vegas will take Brown. Even if we have to throw a pick that way to goose that move for Brown then it would be well worth it.

good point, as i think teams are allowed to negotiate with LV prior to the expansion draft. would be smart of LV to ask LA to sweeten the deal, even if they would plan on taking brown anyways, right? the cost would prob still be lower than offloading brown otherwise to another team.
