I'm not worried about Canada personally. Things are OK here, a lower value dollar coin helps exports and my quality of life isn't suffering.

I'm more concerned about the world in general. If the west is going to try to sell democracy and capitalism to foreign countries, we have to give people the opportunity to buy in as well. I'm for treating people from all over the world with respect and decency. And in some cases, it means giving people the benefit of the doubt.

You should be a little. People are coming from France by the thousands every day, a hotbed for terrorism right now. Canada sends troops to fight and we are allies with the united states.
Look at the jazz festival, the big event free outdoor show atracts 100 000 people. The security consists of two 18 year old cadets standing in front of a 2 by 4 on stilts.
You could load a van full of explosives, drive it right down St. Famille and hundreds if not thousans are dead.
Thats just off the top of my head, and it makes so much sense its scary.
I never gave it a thought either but now its starting to concern me a little.
