Don't worry. I corrected it and reminded him that he was thinking of Edmonton, not New Jersey. |

Stop looking in past it means nothing.
Espn predict sabres having better roster.

Sabres are on the incline and Philly is on the decline. - hanleyaj
1: Stop using ESPN for hockey info
2: Sabres are on the incline, true, but the Flyers also have good young players coming up the pipeline and are still managing to be competitive. They are in no way on the decline. |

goaltending is not questionable. that is a false narrative. - rinaldo

This is very compelling. Especially when you consider that scoring league wide is decreasing. But yea, you're absolutely right. I'd be surprised if they don't see some time in the minors next year.

Maybe they are declining but they are not improving. Every step foward they take with ghost and schen they take a step back with Girous and voracek. |

Thanks for that and agreed. I think ghost is an amazing dman and they flyers are doing fine with a moderate prospect pool overall. They have been pretty quiet in FA and lack a lot of firepower up front and shaky in goal. - jackzack87
You need to do some research before you critique another team's situation and glorify Buffalo's 5 years of tanking.
-Despite only having 1 top 10 pick the last 5 years the Flyers have one of the strongest overall farm systems in the league.
-Being quiet in free agency isn't exactly a bad thing. The key is making the right splashes at the right time. They aren't ready for it but are closer than Buffalo.
-They might lack depth but not fire power with Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Schenn, Couturier as their young forward core.
-Flyers being shaky in goal is the laziest misconception out there. It's one of their strengths. |

It has been around the same for past 3-4 years. It is their age that is causing the decline. |

He is just another reason why once u reach 30 you are past your prime. it is a young mans league and only certain few players are the exceptions. |

You're right that was excessive. Struggling for 4 and tanking for 1 would be a better way of putting it.
I'm sorry to not have researched the methods of how your team has sucked the last 5 years. |

Pittsburgh is pretty thin at LW. He very easily could find himself next to Sid or Geno if he proves he belongs. Crosby had so many incredible passes in the playoffs that clanked off of guys sticks. |

Obviously the flames ...we already have players who take forever to sign ...and we need a good 3rd/4th line stop gap like vesey |
