It must be really hard to know your team sucked the most last season, will probably suck for the next 3 to 5 seasons, before they even get a sniff at contending for a WC position ............ knowing very well that they'll get blown out if they actually get it.

Did not think the poster I was responding to, could explain it ............ and neither can you.

leafs were the worst team in the NHL last season, and it's going to be a long long road back to even contending for a wildcard spot ........ perhaps 5 more years , and then another few seasons before they can even think about winning a first round series, and by that time they'll be in Cap problems and management will have to start another re-build .......... the typical leaf cycle that we've all seen over the past two decades.

I think he likes it here and they seem to have a pretty decent team. It'll just come down to how much the Jays are willing to offer.

Bautista seems like he just wants to get overpaid so meh. I think he'll be better next year even though he's 35, I just don't think he'll be worth what he wants. EE probably will be worth it.
