I'll always remember U2 for their post 9/11 benefit show with the rising banners that fell....nothing matches that as far as U2 is concerned (Streets With No Name)

Tanner, You should be a music blogger. You seem to know a lot about music.

I have no comment on this. How many times has Vrbata left Arizona just to have a bad year then immediately return and light it up again? He'll be fine.

This is his third time with the Coyotes, but the first time he left to play only 18 games with the Lightning and while he only scored 3 goals, it's possible he played well and just didn't score.

The first year he played in Vancouver he got 31 goals. I think he'll be fine too. He's an underrated player.

Or in any month. This blog attracts the coolest people around, I get all sorts of nice messages across the scope of medias, and most of the regular commenters are great too.

It's for your hockey fan that realizes anyone's opinion is apt to be whacky and that any fool could give un-hot takes and cater to what people already think. We don't take it too seriously but somehow still act like we do and that we're way better than everyone.

And it's hilarious how hated we are by certain people (looking at you Jeff O'Neil, I know you're reading this).

I'll leave you with Miss Cleo's final prediction: we'll build a cult following until some idiot notices and pays us huge money to take our schtick to satellite radio where we set the record for most times saying ____ in a hockey related broadcast, but all our original fans will abandon us and say we were way better before we sold out. Then we'll quit and spend our remaining days drinking with a washed up Steve Kouleas. (Like 35 years from now).

Jeff O'Neil used to follow me on twitter and we had conversations via dm. Then he bloked me after I was critical of his opinions. Guy is as thin-skinned as they come.

Bold choice. To be honest, the only u2 album I hate is All that you Can't Leave Behind, and even then, it's mostly the singles, but I probably never played No Line after initially competing it and setting it on my shelf.
- James_Tanner

James, grab some headphones, get the lyrics up, turn the lights down and the volume up and give No Line another chance. Unknown Caller is one of their best songs. There are some real gems on No Line.

Close...

1. Joshua Tree
2. Unforgettable Fire
3. War
4. Under a Blood Red Sky
5. Achtung Baby

I got to see them in three different decades live! I'd see them again in a heartbeat!!!!

- geta02it

Exactly! I've seen them in four different decades and they've never disappointed. It's a show you can take your family to and feel good about the memories you created these days.

You certainly have a knack for attracting the best and the worst regardless of your opinion. Regardless of what your opinion is, its always worth the click.

On an unrelated topic, James, aren't the Leafs one of the teams that you feel is on the forefront of analytics? Considering your past statement that if teams would just rely on analytics and fire all of their scouts, they'd have a huge advantage over the league. How do you feel about the Leafs bolstering their scouting staff in the last couple weeks by hiring Spokane Chiefs GM Tim Speltz, and former Sherbrooke GM Patrick Charbonneau?

I have no idea who those guys are or what they bring to the table. As such, I have no opinion on the matter.

That's a copout. Don't need to know who those guys are, or what they bring to the table, to fit the context of the statement that you made. A team that you think is at the forefront of analytics, just added two hires to bolster their scouting department. Why would they do that if all you need is analytics?
