I remember in grade school.. "DK" meant Don't Know. As the answer on a test . We had class mates that were nicknamed DK.

My nickname in elementary school was DK too.

A post about Vesey:

If he becomes a Blackhawk he'll be the next Saad. Anywhere else he'll become Dustin Penner. Karma will bite him in the tucas.

For a while anyway. Then it can really (frank) you good. And not in the fun way. Gotta know when to get out. If you're even entertaining the idea, it's probably already too late.

I formally apologize for every Kane trade post ever.

This is nauseating. He's played 0 games and we are discussing who is "boys" are. I'm starting to hope he does not sign

Totally agree.

Sign Hudler instead. He'll likely be cheaper, assuming Vesey is even good enough to meet his bonuses, while likely having the same or more impact on the team.

It's not his fault necessarily, but this situation is setting this kid up for failure. Big time

I'd be open to Hudler on a one or two year deal

This is correct. Massive expectations on this kid no matter where he lands. Hopefully he doesn't become the next Alexandre Daigle.

The difference is, that, hopefully Vesey will be better in 2 or 3 years than Hudler who will be slowing down majorly by then most likely. He's already 32. Players don't get better after 30. Last year was just the start.

Well of course I see the positives of Vesey over Hudler. But if we miss out, short term Hudler should be able to put up the same or better numbers.

I'd like to see us get another top 9 forward, whether it be Vesey, Hudler, or maybe even Pirri.

I'm not an Ennis fan but want to see him with a full year under his belt. Still would move Ennis if the offer came around.
