Did anyone from Vesey's camp confirm they are meeting with the Bruins?

I recall his agent a couple weeks ago saying Bruins were not on the list.

You should share whatever you're smoking. If I was only going to get one cheese steak in Philly for the first time, it would definitely be Pats, the King of Steaks. And when you go there you get it with Wiz. If you like fried onions, which I highly recommend, you order a Wiz with. If you don't like fried onions, you order a Wiz Without. Say anymore words to the guy taking your order and you'll get a look like he's about to kill you. Don't make a misteak. Go to Pats. Geno's is right across the street and is way more dolled up, but Pat's is the King of Steaks. Mark it down and put it in a safe place.

Me neither.

If he had said that, we would all know about it.

As per your other question, "sources" told a Boston reporter that the Bruins get to go last. It doesn't come out and say it (at least not in The Score article) but it is implied that the Vesey camp has set it up this way.

“There’s no question that the Boston Bruins are going to have their say [if Vesey becomes a free agent],” Fish said. “There’s obviously room on their depth chart for Jimmy and he grew up a Bruins fan. They’re obviously, in my opinion, a well-run organization. They’re going to have their say.”

Been looking for it . Was something about he isn't pushing to have a chat with Boston but might, just to hear them out. But not really all that interested.

Still looking .

If that's where he goes then so be it.

I think that is the last place he should sign.

I'm not smoking anything.

When I have friends from out of town in, we've done the tour and most say what's the big deal with Pat's and Geno's other than the fight over the first after they have the sandwiches at any of the other places people who live and work in the city say.

Morimoto is definitely a good place from reviews. I'm not a big sushi/Japanese food guy.

I did and thanks .

Could have been the used car salesman (his Agent) approach to the local paper too. I dunno.

The piece I saw was from a week or 2 ago. Could have changed his mind too.

I'm trying to figure out if his agent could have said anything about any teams other than Buffalo two weeks ago - would that be tampering?

I guess it wouldn't be...

Lived in Philly for a year.

Pat's and Geno's is a tourist trap.

I do prefer Pat's over Geno's but you can get a better cheesesteak at any mom and pop place in the city just like you can get better wings and any mom and pop place over the Anchor Bar.

Gotta do the historical stuff. Art museum is cool, don't have to go in, just see the steps and statues in the area. If you're somewhat active, you probably can walk from the Art Museum to Independence Hall, it's probably around a 3 mile walk, but its a walk I made and it's kinda cool to walk through Center City on a nice day. I've heard Skygarten is a really cool bar. High up with great view of city and think it could be a stop on a walk from Art Museum to Independence Hall. Not sure how many days you're in Philly, but Del Frisco's was the 2nd best steak I ever had in my life. It might be a chain steak house, but it's in an old bank in a big building. Pricey though and might get a serious case of meat sweats if you eat a cheese steak earlier in the day. I'd recommend finding a Rita's Water Ice some day or night in between. They're all over the place. You'll love it. Pat's was the first cheese steak I ever had and it will blow your mind how good it is. If you've never had a Philadelphia Cheese Steak, you have no idea how good they could possibly be. Like Eric Stryker not knowing about wings good.

Don't know much about the Jersey shore, but AC is fun to gamble, don't walk on the boardwalk there late at night and I agree the Ocean City Boardwalk is really nice with a lot of cool shops and snack places to eat. If time permits, I'd go at dusk so it isn't so hot unless you plan on going in the ocean too.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks man! Appreciate it
One of my best friends bartends in one of the clubs at the Borgata, so she's gonna show us around AC a bit
We aren't gamblers, so we're gonna avoid the Casinos for the most part

Appreciate the cheesesteak advice
I think I might have to go to ALL FIVE!
Hahaha

If you go to Tony Luke's get the Green Sandwich with spinach (not broccoli rob) and/or the pork sandwich with sharp provolone & gravy. Both are outstanding!
You can get a good cheese steak at a lot of places in Philly, but Tony Luke's has some really nice alternatives.

I give him credit . Most players that young hope to have a team sign them and sometimes it's not where they want to end up. He has a choice. Pretty rare for a hockey player not even a lick of NHL experience.
