If we get Vesey we could slide Cammelleri up to that top line RW. He is versatile and he can play anywhere he is asked to play. He would love to play with Hall and Henrique. Vesey, if he is ready, can slot into that second line LW with Zajac and Palms. Boucher-Zacha-Bennett, Josefson-Fiddler-Dsp (any of these guys can be swapped with Kalinin) Blandisi I foresee playing in Albany but he could take one of these bottom 6 roles also. Lets hope he signs in NJ.

CSN seems to think its a race between the Rangers and Devils for Vesey. With CHI possibly having a shot. Doesn't really think any of the others have a chance. Hopefully he sees Lundquist as declining in the next two years and Schneider just starting a new contract with NJ and sees us as the better option at this point.

If I remember the consensus was somewhere around 14 or 15, I'll see if I can look it up.

The rankings there though are a bit out there. Kyle Connor rated way higher than anyone had him and Hanifin way lower.

There were 4 "power forwards" that were probably a toss up at the draft were teams had them rated with Zacha, Rantanen, Crouse and Meier. I wouldn't be surprosed if Zacha winds up the best of the bunch, or the worst for that matter. Zachas injury/ suspension hurt him a lot in his draft year.

Surely you understand that it's way easier to figure out things after the fact rather than in the present. So the prospect that hasn't developed into anything meaningful in years has less stock than the player who was drafted two drafts ago.

You're also confused about the point. Things aren't proven unless shown proven. Prospects are good until they do something. Which is the point of the word prospect. It's not a hard concept to understand.
