if he goes to boston or toronto he doesnt care about winning and is just going somwhere he would be comfortable. if he is competitive he will go to chicago or pit. |

How in the hell did the Devils sneak into the discussion of teams that are on the rise?? They got Taylor Hall....... And???? NJ is far from building a contender right now or even in the next 2-4 years. - HawksGuySince85

This guy will be a bust, if leafs sign him I hope I am wrong. Not to keen on his play. I watched alot of his highlights on Harvard last few days. Nothing explosive or exciting. he's an over hyped 3rd liner. We are starving for some media related to NHL as August sucks usually for hockey news.
So this vesey guy is like the meat in the tiger den..lol vesey is a bust

It would be great if he has his press conference in Buffalo and says, "I'm taking my talents to....." |

You mean imagining a world where Boston has a competent front office? Nope can't see that at all. |

What I think you may be overlooking is that nobody is necessarily saying he's going to be great, but more that he carries very little risk (which gets diminished down to next-to-nothing, for teams with lots of cap space). He is a free asset that costs only cash and will have a contract that is largely bonus-laden. If he totally sucks, the team that signs him is only stuck with him for 2 years.
Is he any sort of guarantee? Hell no. But the risk/reward ratio is extremely favorable. |

Check out the Harvard grad's play (with Jack Eichel) from the Pro League at the Foxboro Sports Center. Hopefully they'll both be there tomorrow night!

This is quite a phenomenon. There have been more words written about this scrub than Crosby Ovechkin and Karlsson combined. Why do all you bloggers think we give a (frank) about this guy? - BestRapperAlive
Is there something else to talk about at the moment related to hockey?

The real question is, do they bother having a season in 2016-2017 or do they simply award the cup in August, based on where this kid signs? All that hockey just seems pointless and extraneous once he makes his decision. |

Ok is this guy REALLY worth the hype? Is he a Bobby Orr, #99 or is he wanna be? I have not seen this much hype about player that is so coveted..... It appears his own self worth is only matched by his arrogance. 24 years old which in today's standards is a beginning of a players peak performance time. And he is so AWESOME he chooses to be Jimmy Superstar. I am feeling a Todd Marinovich comparison coming...... FLOP FLOP FLOP. every is great and wins a trophy because you participated. Mommy and Daddy told him he is awesome! |

You must have missed the Justin Schultz sweepstakes.
Also, I'll have to confer with my sources, but last I saw, he did not have any comparisons to Bobby Orr or Wayne Gretzky. |
