You make some good points that make me see I'm ambivalent about this. When I look at it as a guy choosing where he wants to work within the rules, and the NHL as the big corporate billionaire's club that it is, yeah, (frank) Nashville and Vesey should get what he can. It's more on the fanboy hockey gods level that I don't like it.

Having said that if he signs with the Leafs and is awesome, I will have the Vesey pyjamas.

I hope they ask him a bunch of lame curveball job interview questions, like what are five things you can do with a pencil other than writing, and then say we'll call you if you've been selected for another interview and shake his hand. And then never call. And then fire his dad.
