All I said was I wished the Sabres well in signing Vesey, but if something weird happens and he signs somewhere else, I was ready to help out with Garf's blog by teeing up this:

I wonder at which point does the constant thread locks become a problem... it doesn't generate as many hits for the site as it should because it gets out of hand so quickly..

Comments have no outcome on hits or monetization. The only thing that matters is individual clicks per IP address.

Call me crazy, but I would think that Ek doesn't mind stuff getting out of hand quickly.

But it generates 200 hits in the Leafs threads everyday because you guys are always (frank)ing around over there getting it locked
