This was totally weird to me. I liked Ehrhoff in his limited role and he seemed to do really well... until Keith got hurt and Q bumped him up to the top pair, where he seemed to forget how to hockey and looked completely lost. Made me wonder if the concussions did take a lot out of the guy.

Don't know where Vessey signs but Boston and Toronto are far from Cup contenders. If he was 19 he could wait but at 23-24 if Cups are in the Horizon Pittsburg and Chicago
are better options.

Ehroff only played one game when Keith was out at the end of the season for his suspension (6 games) and that was because Hjammer sat the last game for rest. Hjammer-TVR were the top pair 4 of the final 5 games, in terms of deployment. They did even out the TOI of the players so he played more than usual, but his partner was Gustafsson that game and they got the 3rd pair deployment.

Kesler was playing on the third line for the latter half the the season and into the playoffs. $7M for their 3rd line center.

Hell of a player though.

IF Vesey signs somewhere else then the next logical step would be to make a run at Hudler. My assumption is that he's waiting to see where Vesey lands before committing to a team, considering he hasn't signed somewhere already.

The actual game he got kicked out, Ehrhoff saw time up and down the pairs, PK, and PP. He seemed to forget how to hockey. Took at least 2 slappers to clear from behind the red line drawing unnecessary icings.

You have to think this is a make or break move or a centre is on the move.

and Rackell clearly took the step to solidify himself as a legimate third and some.

Granted Vermette can play wing, but this signals a serious NOW commitment to winning...after the last couple years of almost wins.

Can´t wait to see this Vesey watch end. It would be nice thing if he signed with Blackhawks. If he doesn´t it is no big deal just like Mike Reilly year ago. I´d rather see Panarin extension though.
