Thank GOD it's over!!! Hopefully Stan's on the phone with Hudler right now. But, honestly after reading the comparisons between Vesey and Motte, watching what little footage is available on Motte, and the fact that they were both finalists for the Hobey Baker this year...I think Tyler could be a black ace and maybe make line 2 with Panarin moved up to line 1 (if we don't get Hudler that is).

He's gonna have to if he really wants to maximize that 2nd contract as has been reported. Sure as poop doesn't have the supporting cast he would have on some of the other teams

Seriously? Epic fail? We all bought into the hype of a kid that has never played above NCAA. Vesey does not equal Panarin. Panarin was the steal of the century and StanBo knocked it out of the park on that one.

Seriously? Epic fail? We all bought into the hype of a kid that has never played above NCAA. Vesey does not equal Panarin. Panarin was the steal of the century and StanBo knocked it out of the park on that one.

Yes, healthy scratch many times even during the post season (I think), plus viewed as expendable as far as finding ways to improve the Rangers roster this off season.

I imagine Vesey is going to get booed in many NHL rinks. And this gives extra reason to not like Hayes. Someone else posted this, Vesey needs his head checked if he truly is getting career advice from Hayes.

Vesey would have been a nice addition to the team, no question about it. But there are other good options out their too. Hudler would be the best choice of the remaining free agents, but we'll have to wait and see how things pan out.

With wet behind the ears Boston hockey types anyway. Guys that age trust their buddies. Think it's not his best choice career wise, but it's his and now he needs to own it.
