The silliness factor is at maximum right now.

There is a lot of speculation, but honestly I think a lot of it is being blown out of proportion in regards to Vesey. I have no problem with the kid taking his time to choose where he wants to play. Teams have only been able to talk to him for only two days and now he has to decide where he wants to live and play(work) for the near to medium term. He may end up amounting to nothing in the NHL, but still a huge personal decision for him.

My gut tells me he lands in TOR. All of the BS creates the impression of real deliberation. Might help temper the inevitable tampering allegations to follow.

It feels like this kid is setting himself up to fail. He is not going to live up to expectations, he'll become a head case and every team that doesn't get him is going to destroy him every chance they get.

Al doesn't go out on a limb with rumors and whispers like I do. So when he does, IMO, generally speaking, he feels pretty confident.

Numerous sources have told me the Hawks seemed to be in the lead on this for some time. I also reserved judgment due to the nature of the interview process and the number of teams involved.

All that said, depending on the kind of kid he is, and if the rumors that he is concerned about his second contract (primarily) are to be believed, it is hard to argue against Chicago.

I think we will hear today.
