Have never seen Vesey play so don't know much. But I do recall the hype around college FA's Justin Schultz, Tyler Bozak, Matt Gilroy and a few other big names thru recent years.

its a big step up from the NCAA to the #1 line on an NHL contender.

My money is on the longer it takes the more likely Vesey's choice is Toronto. Long deliberation is the best defense for tampering.

I checked my source this morning in the mirror and he thinks it'sgoing to be the Rangers or Boston, or the Devils or the Leafs or Buffalo or THE HAWKS or some other team. I guess I hope we get him but , but I think we would have better off getting a couple cheap veterans. If he gets his bonuses we will lose Breadman or Crawford ect next year. If he can'treach bonuses we probably could have got a veteran who would have performed better and not worried about signing them next year. Real prediction the Leafs snag him.

Oh yeah, easily. I think Bowman and Toews will be able to sway his decision in their favor. The Hawks, aside from Pittsburgh, are the only realistic contenders out of the 5-7 teams. Maybe NYI? I'm optimistic though.

I wouldn't worry about Panarin, or Vesey if they sign him and he's a solid player.

Core is going to start changing, some will be move out, Panarin, or any other young effective player will stay. Don't throw up Sadd at me, the timing of that was different from next year and the year after.

I agree with VA Beach - Hawks are used to first world problems and it would be good to have another. I think they'd figure out a way to keep Breadman. The core may not be the same. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Billy , Im sure you've stated it somewhere in this this thread , but where do you see Vasey as an NHL forward ?

Ive seen a lot of lazy "Remember Drew Lebllahhh" comparisons because of the Hoby . But isnt Vesey a much better skater and have much better hands then our boy Drew LeBlahh ?
