I doubt his contract supports loan arrangements and I can't imagine he would be game for that either way.

In the end, if Lupul is healthy he can be a fairly valuable contributor.

He is and can be useful when healthy. Fiesty point producer. Actually exciting to watch. A bubble team would take a chance on him if he stays healthy guaranteed. Even if you get a 2nd or 3rd back. I would actually be happy to see him have a rebound season and stay healthy for 3-4 more seasons in the NHL. Hope his luck/health improves not only for a decent return, but for a really good player that has had really bad luck.

yeah, i had to quit. every time i read a garth blog it would end up in a 3 day ban. for real. just can't help myself.

I don't understand the big concern about Lupul. If he's ready to go let the man play. If he gets hurt so be it. If he doesn't get hurt then he won't be any worse than greening, laich, Michalek. More than likely better than those guys. It's not like the guy forgot how to hockey and completely sucks now. Over paid sure but it is what it is.

actually his situation is completely different than Robidas' - Lupul is below the magic 35 no CAP relief age... and he can still play - when not injured.

something has to be up with Lupul however... either he's genuinely fragile OR he simply is self indulgent... .meaning he won't play unless he's 100%.

its a shame though... he was great to watch and played with heart.

It's even better when he says Vesey might be offered the #1 LW position in Buffalo and then states that he might not want to go to Boston or Toronto where he would have to be the saviour.

I really like Martin on that wing and Lupul down....just been criticized for doing it. A lot of people thing Martin isn't good enough to play up. But I like it.

at this point LouL should just ask Buffalo for a 3rd to not participate in trying to sign Vesey.... see if Buffalo is stupid enough to do it.
