Nice. Got my first slo pitch tourney coming up next wknd in London. Is it hard to adapt to hitting that style? I'm used to crushing the team pitch lobs, but never tried the SP.

When I used to play, I could throw a curve ball. Freaked the other hitters out. I'd hold the ball on the side and start it way out to my right (I'm a rightie) and come up and over the ball as I swung my arm. Ball starts way outside and the hitter give up on it and it end up hitting the mat.

I was called insane for paying $30 a bottle for it in the late 80's, it goes for over $2k a bottle if you can find it. Magical stuff.

I (frank)ing hate batting in Slo pitch. Give me a decent pitch that's coming at speed between my knee and waist and I'll send it back where it came from...

I was the pitcher for my slo-pitch team though... just had to keep throwing fire and crushing beer and everything was good

Plus there are some wineries here in the US that are going with this... everything is recyclable (and made from recycled stuff) plus it weighs less than glass so helps to lower transportation cost
