Pavelski & Burns r the best Sharks hands down.

Their record without Vlasic is brutal. He was playing injured in round 4 and it made a huge difference.

OK, but hear me out on this:
What's crazy is they Jiri Hudler and Taylor Hall have the exact same number of letters in their name but in opposite arrangements. Taylor has a 6 letter first name and a 4 letter last name where Jiri has a 4 letter first name and 6 letter last name.... but then they both have last names that begin with H. You know what else starts with H? Hockey. So there's that.

Oh and Jiri played in Calgary previously and Taylor played in Calgary and they're both somewhere up Alberta Canada.... and do you know what's smack in the middle between Calgary and Edmonton? Red Deer. And while deer don't play hockey they are fast, which is essential in today's NHL..... Which is why Hynes said he wanted team that fast...(attacking and supportive). And Hall is fast, so it's like Coach Hynes knew we'd be getting Hall, but not Hudler. It's a conspiracy! That's why he put Larsson on the top line with Greene. Because he knew whoever we put with Greene, the Oilers would want. Just like Marc Fayne!

This list included some players who have declined and are a bit overrated.

Giroux, Perry, Backstrom, all there for now... not quite the players they used to be. I argue Kuznetsov is better than Backstrom at this point. Giroux is still a top 20 but Perry should have probably been replaced with Wheeler who does what he does on a much lousier team.

I don't disagree with Hall's exclusion, but Hall will be there in a year or two, supposing our d hasn't gone to squat.

Giroux hip that needed surgery wouldn't have anything to do with the down year? I don't disagree with his low ranking I think he could be put 16-25 on any list and I'd be comfortable with it. But don't call a season where he was injured for the entire latter part a decline.

Kuznetsov really disappointed me in the playoffs but in the ongoing years I expect a spot for him. The most useful thing he did in the opening round was take that awful hit.

Also saying hall will be there and discount what the careers of panarin Larkin eichel Matthew's etc might turn into is a mistake. Nobody knows what will come. I do think hall slights in somewhere in the 21-35 range atm.

I agree that Taylor Hall could easily find himself on that list. I think he is better than Bergeron for one thing. I see valid points regarding 5v5 points, but at the same time, this age in hockey is built around sepcial teams and if you don't produce in the top of the league on special teams you will most likely never be considered in the top 20. That being said, I think taylor should find himself in that list because I do think that his numbers on special teams a great enough. There are may other players that could also find themselves on that list.

Wheeler is nothing close to a top 20 forward. Get a grip.

Thanks, but I don't really think so. However I'd be glad to have Hudler sign with the Devils if the contract was favorable. I think he could do decently (similar to Stempniak) and have some trade value at the deadline if things go well. He's been sitting out there a long time as a free agent. Maybe he's asking for too much...

Hall, regardless of where he fits in the rankings is a legit first line winger and is exactly what the Devils needed. Considering there was practically zero chance our farm system could produce a guy like that anytime soon and we do have a shot at covering the loss of Larsson I am thrilled Hall is a DEVIL.

It's not a credible list if it doesn't have Hall on it
