I've blasted through 2, 3, and 6 in the past week, I love that classic cast. I saw the new one too, it was pretty good (as these things go, at least).

Big Lebowski is a poope film

No series of movies leaves me shaking my head in amazement that they pulled it off like LoTR. The years of sleepless nights for Jackson, scripts for 2 and 3 written on the fly, endless reshoots, the denseness and epicness needing to be conveyed so precisely. It's a filmmaking wonder that felt ready to spiral out of control at any time.

Return of the King is my favorite as well.

The battles in LOTR, even with each movie going more and more with animation were so much better than those in the Hobbit.

Troll 2 (a movie about goblins, with a script that sounds like it was run through Google Translate and back)
The Last Dragon (this movie features the best room trashing scene since Citizen Kane)
Hard Ticket to Hawaii (this film is of the quality you'd expect from two 80's Playboy playmates)

I omitted The Room, it didn't seem fair. Everybody should see it once, tho.
