Ek's rumor is not anything I can see happening. It would be nice to open a spot in the D but I doubt Streit goes until trade deadline.
I was shocked last night seeing Bush at the Fillmore and the crowd was tame. Gavin was in the crowd a few times and I expected a torn shirt and no such thing. Man we are getting old.
Floorpunch, Breakdown and Strife were good..
I was only there for one reason last night and that was the Turning Point tribute..the place went crazy..they used 3 different singers...their music still holds up. - opeth_pa
I saw Breakdown at the No Warning reunion and honestly...not a fan. I'm a much bigger fan of Slumlords.
Breakdown are what they are..Not really the style I listen to anymore but I understand why people liked them for the nostalgia reason.
I saw No Escape were playing shows again. - opeth_pa
Eh, they're not really my cup of tea. They're not bad or anything, just kind of run of the mill stuff today. I guess back in 1986 it was new and fresh. I always liked the GB/Judge/YOT (minus Ray's shrill screams) youth crew stuff more. Then again, I can't stand Bold and Uniform Choice, so I guess I'm just picky.
Were you there 2 years ago when No Redeeming Social Value played?
