take the mid way point of the 2 and half hour stretch between london and windsor that is completely flat and offers up some of the most majestically boring and painfully dull landscapes in ontario, throw 45K people there and build a town.

the 401 rest stop nearby is probably about as exciting.

at least cornwall is on the banks of one of the larger rivers in the world.

chatham has some pretty deep ditches so i guess thats something.

Yeah but it's the people of Cornwall and the city itself. Not the geography. I admit it is pretty nice near the river and surrounding area but the city is filled with nothing but crack heads, bums, midgets (yes there's a large population of midgets for some reason) and just about every other white trash minority. Also the women are terrible, probably the ugliest women in all of Canada. I've literally only seen like 2-3 hot chicks the 4 years I lived there.

if you're living in the downtown core, absolutely. But there are some pretty unreal areas in the suburbs of Detroit. Buffalo, being smaller, simply doesn't have that.
