i highly doubt sergachev would be in play, he is Montreals number 1 prospect, but then again...we are talking about the worst GM in hockey here. tho if blue want scherbak and Shatty agrees to extension, i would do it.

Just seems strange to me to segregate it out by religion. It makes it feel as though they are set up for 'X-group' because against the whole population they can not compete.

I understand what you mean but culturally jews tend to really stick together and form strong communities because historically they have always been a minority. so the maccabbi games are organized by the JCC (jewish community center) of a certain city and then athletes come and compete. it would be like if the ymca hosted the boy scouts for a sporting competition.

Shatten plays right side doesn't he? If he played left I'd consider it contingent upon an extension, but Habs don't need any more right side D we're good there.
