JVR, Matthews, Marner

Thatis the line I really want to see but Babcock saying Nylander will go on Matthews wing stops me every I do a line up. If the Leafs do that line up everything else falls in place a little better too.

Komarov, Kadri, Sosh
Brown, Bozak, Nylander
JVR, Matthews, Marner
Greening, Laich, Michalek

That line up is the best of all possible scenarios....my favorites anyway.

And the big free agent signing?

Please explain how you think that Komarov and Sosh belong on the first line.

I don't.

I find that line up is the best suited for each line to start. If they progress and perform the way each player and each line should, the hierarchy....if you must categorize between 1, 2, 3 would work out to be:

JVR, Matthews, Marner (Sniper, All skills, Playmaker)
Komarov, Kadri, Nylander (Grinder, Playmaker, Sniper)
Brown, Bozak, Sosh (Grinder/Plamaker/All Skills, Playmaker-ish, Sniper)

When the Matthews line clicks and settles in and is ready for 'line one' matchups, the above is what happens to the lineup.

But to start the season, I would do the first line up I posted. Around December flip to this line up.

Babcock already said they want Willie playing with Matthews. I think a Komarov-Matthews-Nylander line would be (frank)ing excellent.

How does the rest lay out though...in the best possible way?

JVR, Kadri, Marner
Komarov, Matthews, Nylander
Lupul, Bozak, Brown
Michalek, Laich, Martin

Pretty much exactly how I see it. Sub out Lupul and Michalek for Soshnikov and Hyman when they are inevitably injured.
