I wouldn't give up 2 young players for Fowler who will be a UFA after 17/18. Too much risk there. Fasching is a big power forward and has lots of upside imo. There is a reason Murray traded for him. I think Fasching in a few years will be a force.

I'd consider a pick, that's about it. If you trade for Fowler, you take the risk of losing him after 17/18 and Kuli after this upcoming season. The more I think about it, I would rather have Girgs and forget about Fowler. Girgs is an ideal 3C.

I like Girgs, but honestly I think Larsson has proven to be a cheaper #3 option - who is just as productive...

I really think we should make a push for Pirri to round out our bottom 6. Would be nice to add a decent scorer there. Moving Girgs could also create an opening in the forward ranks.

I still don't know how you'd make the pairings work. Even if you move out Franson, you've still got either one of Kulikov, McCabe or Bogosian pushed down to the bottom pair.

At the 51:30 minute mark, Jack goes around a guy (#5) and it looks like he goes after Jacks Knee. The first guy in to confront the guy is Vesey, followed by #12 who checks another guy then goes and has something to say to (#5) on the opposing bench. Interesting.
