Moore : age hit hard last yr... a lot of hockey for him since a NYR

should retire? i wish him well..........

Vermette : hes a 2nd line type? may not still ?

why would we expect him to play a dirty 4th line role? not his game

we have the makings of a top notch 4th line ..Oscar when healthy

will pay his dues & be a contingency if injury happens in #1&2 lines

Joors or Jooris also a very solid center or just 4th liner....we have

more than enough talent to make the 4th line a factor...........Hrivik i like too

grabner gerbe along with a few more ..

Hayes could have Fast for responsibilty reasons & J T /Bushny

Vermette even bouhgt out wont fit good ...I M O

I agree. I'm very comfortable with this team moving forward. Vesey would be a nice bonus, but no need for Vermette.

Besides Vesey for obvious reasons, Hudler is likely the only other player i wouldn't mind pursuing.

Although he's a bit old, I'd give Vrbata a flyer, too. Could be some good experience the 3rd line needs and he can still pot the puck.

Jimbo whats your take on Klein?
- mrn22

I think it's a good time to trade Klein, his value is high I think, right handed shot, great cap hit

Mats Zuccarello spoke with Norwegian newspaper VG and said the following:

It's sad to see Derick Brassard traded but that is part of the "business"
He and Brassard played well together and helped each other and it will be "difficult" to find a new linemate like him.
He is "sad and sorry" about Brassard being traded and the two hung out together pretty much every day.
He doesn't know much about Mika Zibanejad as a person but he knows that he is a good player.
He has a busy schedule ahead with Olympic qualifiers for Norway, the World Cup and the Rangers season.
He had a good season last year but "I will do better" this season

Now we know why Brass picked up that garbage can after Zuc knocked it down. He was covering for his buddy.

Ive mentioned it twice the last few days with no response.

How do people feel about a Klein trade?

Does it make more sense to leave him available for the expan draft? Kinda feel like that's losing an asset for nothing but at the same time he could protect someone else on the roster. I just feel like yes, that MDZ for KK trade has worked out GREAT for the team but how much more quality minutes can you keep expecting outa him.

- mrn22

I don't like a klein trade. he is one of our few players on a very good contract. I also doubt he is taken through the expan draft. why would another team want to take a 30+ YO Dman who doesn't score much? I am assuming their team will be filled with good young talent, the best they can get.

I think the rangers are done their moves(aside from trying to get Vesey) this year. they will give the D another shot. if G, Staal, or klein play poorly, Holden will take their place.

Hey Jan, at this point in the offseason I don't think many people still care about what grades the players got last year. I for one would much rather see a hype blog on why Buchnevich will win the Calder or why Skjei will win the Norris within the next 5 years.

That'll really get it poppin up in here

I would really like to see a blog on predictions for each player this year. like points and line predictions. I am very interested to see how MZ does this year.
