We're very fortunate fans to have Claude Giroux as a captain. One of the finest.

Our two $2.35m guys have eerily similar stats the past two years. I wonder if they end up together on the 3rd line flanking Cousins.

To improve the PK, center the 4th line and help relieve some of the burden on Giroux, so he doesn't have to spend as much time on the PK or taking defensive zone draws, since he was the only above average to good faceoff guy on the team the past few years

I don't doubt they could score similarly, as they have. But they're not in the same class of players in terms of all-around game, with the ability to improve line play. Schultz puts up points and is used like Tanev. Tanev he is not.
