What did you guys think of the Gagne signing by CBJ for only $0.650M? I never liked him but it was pretty cheap even to use him as a 13th forward or whatever.

Btw. I'd rather get Cullen back than Vermette. Cullen is a perfect fit for us. Vesey? I don't think he's comming. Hudler, Nice choice if we could get him for $1M.

Eric Fehr all things considered. Then flank him with the best combination of Kuhnhackl, Wilson, and Sundqvist. I wouldn't be completely opposed to vet minimum Vermette, but I don't think he's a better 4C than Fehr at this juncture. He's definitely better at faceoffs than Fehr, but Joe Vitalle was a great faceoff guy and look at where that era's fourth line got us.

If we can't sign Cullen my first choice Would be Hudler (@ vet minimum). I'd throw Fehr as a C or try Sündqvist (he'd be getting experience - win win). Vermette Would be my 3rd choice after Cullen and Hudler.

As for Vesey and Pirri, I think we are definitely out on them. Really. Not that I don't like them..
