Guhle, Nelson, Im a huge Borgen fan (both player and tv show) and even if a 3rd pairing guy i think martin has what it takes to be an offensive specialist in the nhl.

It's not perfect but the situation to me seems more promising there than the forwards although that changes a bit with Nylander in the fold.

Forget them, Montour and Dvorak were still on the board

Doughty & McKeown were obvious picks at the time that he passed on

I hated his 2014 draft in the 2nd round

Should've taken Barbashev over Lemieux, but that was kind of excusable
Thing that gets me pissed was then taking Cornel (who I kinda like actually), and especially Karabacek
McKeown & Doughty were still there & good defenseman prospects at a time when we really needed to restock defense & had plenty of forward prospects

IMO, the Karabacek move was the worst mistake he's made so far

Nelson MIGHT be able to be the 3rd pair offensive specialist at some point, but he's just brutal in his own end
Idk if Martin is talented enough offensively for that role

We've got quite a few guys at forward who could end up being top9 guys
I think we should trade Fasching
But Baptiste, Carrier, Olofsson, Possler, Malone, and a few others all look like they could be NHLers at some point
