Do I think GMTM has a perfect track record here in Buffalo - absolutely not. However, he has a plan, he is bold and he is willing to take risks. These are all strong attributes for the type of GM that I would want if I owned a sports franchise - or was the fan of one.

We spend a lot of time on the past (Myers trade, Lehner trade, Vesey for a 3rd etc). What's done is done. All I know is that he inherited a gigantic pile of steaming poop. In 2 1/2 years he has taken the greatest collection of misfit hockey players and turned them into a potential bubble playoff team. Not bad from where I stand. My vote is to see how the rest of the summer/fall plays out before we start the #fireGMTM hashtag.

How about this, if we make the playoffs then GMTM has done well. If we miss then he has not. Getting Jack and Sam you should be able to make the playoffs in their 2nd year as long as you make the moves to put a decent team around them. That's the real work, let's see if he's done that.

Here's hoping. Had that finish in Rochester after he got sent back down. I'd say he has the wheels to be a good linemate for 15 & 23. Depending on how Nylander does he'd be my first call-up

Still too quick to judge IMO. I've always had a timeline in my head that they'd be a solid 5-9/10 team in 17/18 and then division leading challengers after that.

Are you kidding? He inherited a team with a top 3 prospect pool, 3 2015 1st round picks, a team on it's way to either Sam Reinhart or Aaron Ekblad, and a team with a boatload of cap space.

To decipher his crapped out English, he is saying that we are signing Vesey, trading Kane and Gorges to Vancouver for their 1st and cap dump (for buyout purposes) and trading that 1st to Anaheim for Fowler. We also are going to make an offer for TB RFA player and Nash as well and we are also offering a 2nd rd and good prospect to Detroit for Nyquist.

Murray must be real busy.
