I was 16 years old and went to the Sabres Soviet wings game January 4,1976. Greatest sabres game ever. They won 12-6. We had season tickets at the Aud, sat upper blues section 19. Awesome. It was part of super series 76.

Great game!! One of the coolest parts was 2 days later, in Montreal . The Sabres took the ice in pre-game to a 5 minute standing ovation. The Soviets were destroying the NHL until the Sabres literally kicked the sh*t out of them.

Looks like we are 3rd in line for Vesey as of now.

I wouldnt say that. Vesey should be smart enough to avoid Chi as they won't be able to afford him in 2 years and will ship him off to a team like Columbus. The only thing I'll say is dont underestimate the eichel factor. He'd be on Eichel's line and probably live with Jack and Samson in their lakefront condo. Can't underestimate the comfort factor
