Hockey... Tough call... Really tough call.... I had seasons 05-08 so...

Top three moments...

- The Campbell hit on Umburger was awesome just such an electrifying moment and biggest hit I've ever seen live in hockey at that speed. It really ignited that whole playoff year
- Game six OT winner against Carolina. I really thought we were done after game 5 but to come back and win it in OT was incredible such a loud atmosphere. Loudest I remember it ever being actually
- This is tough but I'm going sentimental... Game three I believe it was of the Ottawa series in 06. It was my birthday and had just gone through the death of my father. My mom surprised me with a limo and my three best friends at the time all went to the game we sat right by Ottawa's bench and were chirping Chara the whole time. Then J.P Dumont scored the OT winner was awesome
Bonus goes to Max's OT winner against the Rangers

- bluengold12

So #3 is most memorable.

And rightfully so.

Alright, here's one for a hot, muggy summer night in Buffalo. Most memorable game you've ever been to?

Mine is easy, I was at the Sens game where Neil elbowed Drury and Ruff and Murray almost fought.

- Wetbandit1

'07 Game 5 against Rangers Drury ties w 0:07 left - maxim w the belly flop winner in OT. I finagled my way into the Key Bank box.

I was also blind drunk in the stands for the 51-3 playoff annihilation gainst the Raiders.

That was pretty funny
Of course he's gonna say he wants to stay with Nyi though
We'll see what happens when they miss the playoffs the next 2 years
His mind could definitely change

I was 16 years old and went to the Sabres Soviet wings game January 4,1976. Greatest sabres game ever. They won 12-6. We had season tickets at the Aud, sat upper blues section 19. Awesome. It was part of super series 76.

We beat them twice last year and mainly owned Fitz. Rex has a great record against him too. I know they are a good team with a very good defense and solid WR's but Fitz is always gonna Fitz.
- bluengold12

That's all fair,
But even with our record against them they still finished 2 wins better than us

I wish I was old enough to go to the Superbowl year games.. Then again I probably would have had a heart attack or been in jail if I was because I don't think I could've taken the heartbreak.. I don't really have a top Bills win and I've had seasons with them off and on from 06-till now. I've missed all the Bills beat the Pats games because I was in college.. So I don't know... Maybe the Bills beating the Dolphins on Thursday night football...

Only in an old stadium could an upper blues be a section. You couldn't even see the ice from the way back.

I was at the "May Day" game, standing room only tix.
Was pretty young though & don't really remember it all that well.
Was watching the NHLnetwork's top 50 calls of all-time last night, & "May Day" was #2

Also at the "No Goal" game
The screen on the scoreboard kinda sucked, so we couldn't even really tell why Lindy & the Sabres were so upset... Until we got to the bar after & saw the replays!
That one still hurts

Had seasons tix all the year's Kelly was QB,
so lots of great Bills games as well

Not a bad seat in the old Aud. Great arena for hockey and it always sold out to capacity, 16,433. They sold standing room only tix for the Orange section.

The only problem is now he'll forever be spoiled. I remember going to games and watching Miro work. It was something about seeing him live. He was silky smooth and had an amazing release.

I was also like 12 when they moved next door. So my memories are of trying to see over people. At least they had those shiddy little TVs hanging down.

Leafs vs Thrashers early 2000's. First game, I had no idea what hockey was...Kovy was something else though. Brought me out of my seat every time he had the puck (well that and every time there was a fight and everyone was cool with it )

Just read Garth's blog... If Drury is the reason Vesey signs in NY then I hate him even more than I do now... Drury was much more of a betrayal than Briere and I've heard he's talked smack about Buffalo in the past and never really seemed appreciative of the years he had here after the fact. Poaching Vesey from us would be the ultimate squeal of betrayl
