From the previous blog...
I was kinda right. Having Mcdonagh, Staal, Skjei, Holden, Day, Graves and Zbrovosky is kind of redundant. The Rangers desperately need to address the right side of that blue line and they never do. - tomburton99
Woah, look out guys. Here comes Mr. Fancy Season Ticket Holder in the house, with so much disposable income that he can buy a season ticket to Hockeybuzz. |

For good reason. Kid is almost 25 and has only 37 career games. |

I really wanted the free copy of NHL17, instead I got this. Even when I win, I still lose. |

From a STL standpoint it would be wise to hold Shattenkirk til the season's trade deadline. Teams more likely to overpay for a rental |

It's like entering a contest where 1st prize is an all-expenses-paid trip for two weeks to Tahiti and 2nd prize is herpes. |

Yeah a team's current PP qb might be so bad team might forced to trade 1st, 2nd, a 3rd pair D-man and highly touted prospect. Cough, Cough, thanks Dan Boyle. |

Most likely what St Louis will do I would think. From a Rangers stand point, just wait till he is a UFA, they will also have a better grasp on if Girardi last year was because of injuries or because he has really declined that much. Makes it an easier decision to buy him out or not. |

I would love to add Vesey but I just don't think he is gonna pick New York. Especially with the log jam of forwards we have right now. Think he wants to go somewhere where he knows he can get top 6 icetime. - TPC
he probably won't sign with the Rangers, but you never know and wherever he signs that's the next domino that's going to fall.
There are probably more than a few teams that believe they are in on Vesey and everything is on hold until it's decided |

When Mcilrath was drafted he was compared to Chris Pronger. So far so good!! |

For a pending UFA? No wayyyy. Most teams that are Cup contenders or think they're a player, like Shattenkirk, away from being one are at-or-close to the cap. They're not backing up a truck full of valuable assets for a guy that they can't afford to re-sign after the playoffs end. |
