You should check out Ian Flemings SAVE charts. They are like hero charts but for goalies. - Feds91Stammer
What does the guy who wrote James Bond think he is doing with those fancy charts? Stick with what you're good at, leave subjective fancy stats to the pros like Tanner. |

Well if you read my earlier post you would be aware of a 6 team deal that is pending league approval - Feds91Stammer
It all hinges on Vessey. Then the dominoes fall. |

Still have no idea why STL would trade Shatty... chances he makes it past training camp still on STL?? |

One thing that concerns me going into the season that we struggled with last year is faceoffs. Somehow we lost our top 3 faceoff men in Moore Staal Brassard.
Stepan was 46.5, Zibanejad was 50.5, Hayes was 35.5, Lindberg 48.4, Jooris 44.4.
Moore was 55.4
Staal was 53
Brassard was 50.4

What are some options that could help us there? Cullen? 40 years old but showed he can still play last year and was 55.7% on the dot. Re-sign Moore? Trade Stepan for Duchene?(57.9%) |

We were 23rd in the league in faceoff %. Only 1 team had a worse % and made the playoffs, Nashville. This might have been overlooked but something I think we need to address. We need a guy that can go out there late in a game and win us a draw in our own zone. |

i disagree, if you have a 2nd buy out window NOW (ending today?or tomorrow)
you have the ability to make the big bang you need to move out
Nash & vet D to re charge the team , you cant trade Nash anytime but now
waiting till Vesey may or may not sign w/NYR is long shot
why make all the teams moves coming before season predicated on him.....
waiting is for not the answer.....
Shatty & Steen? Stastny ( he's been disappointing)
Nash & Vet D Staal gman klein
both teams get refreeshed ,cap $ is basically a wash .........................I Like it
with that done we still have cap$$ to find atop 6 scorer /front of net player
Oh is Kreids gonna do that for us ..... Doubt it .............. |

the Vesey signing in only a little more than 2 weeks away, once it happens I think a few moves around the league will happen

The team has cap room, why do a buyout. You are just handcuffing yourself for 8 more years. The Rangers don't need cap space right now |

really the only reason to do a buyout is if they are forced to protect Girardi in the expansion draft and he continues to slide this coming season, very possible buyout next June |

If Girardi sucks again next year and then is injured so he can't be bought out.... |

Yep wait til next season. Knocks 2 more years off of the buyout length and lowers the cap hit |
