1) They are going to get Sale and need Bautista in their package to get him.
2) Storen headed the other way.
3) They will flip Upton for a bullpen arm.
4) They want Bautista to spend much more time at DH.
5) They've lost faith in Carrera and I'm full of poop.

I'm trying to remember when Gallagher came back. Was it for the last week or last 2 weeks of the season? Regardless, I'd be accurate in stating that Pacioretty and Galchenyuk did most of their damage last season with Sven Andrighetto as their RW, yes?

Bautista has a no trade.
Insurance for 2017 if they lose Joey and Saunders.

Need some speed at top of order and he's a dece defensive player as well.
