oh right Storen..that flopped... so far
Wasn't big on Revere also.. hate that everyone wanted him a a Leadoff batter...because he was skinny and fast and bunted ... like Carrera...just below avg getting on base with all that - senstroll
Ya he has been just awful.
Cecil is finally coming around a bit, they have both been given a long chain it seems to try and get there poop figured out
not really... just need the political "leaders" to realize that there are no rules that need apply when dealing with the radicals...
1) collateral damage... unfortunate but happens
2) rules of war do not apply... this is all guerilla warfare
3) don't believe what the other leaders say... only thing that matters is what they Do or Do NOT do.
oh well... back to hockey

I believe it works that because the last time the US tried arming a resistance force... think back to Afghanistan in the Russian invasion error. That lead to just about everything that's going wrong in the region now.
Hence Nato guys with their weapons being sent in.
I would prefer if there was greater involvement from countries such as India, Pakistan and of course the financial powerhouses such as Saudi and the other oil producers. - BorjeFan4Ever
I remember the fear that invasion caused in 79. Everyone was thinking WW3 was right around the corner.
Then, a few days after 9/11, CNN did a little documentary on Afghanistan, were they revealed that the Afghan (communist) government at the time, actually asked the Russians to intervene 3 times on their behalf, to fix their Islamic extremist problem.
Russia only actually 'invaded', after said extremists started causing trouble in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
My jaw dropped. That was the day I realized that you can't believe anything you see in the news, unless you know the history behind it.
To think we almost got to see a nuclear war, based on an invasion that wasn't really an invasion at all. Never underestimate a governments will to risk killing off all their citizens, for a chance to make a political point.
I think there needs to be a global discussion about what kin of world we want to live in. Too bad earthlings are too caught up in propaganda and religions to be mature enough to have that discussion.
But yeah, TITS! - Arctic_AARDVARK
To hell with that idea. You can't get consensus in a room full of lawyers who shill as politicians. We need leaders who just look at the problem and destroy it in overkill. Message sent and the world calms down.
I think he's referring to Atomic Wedgie and other lower bowl scum. - markmark
I sometimes watch games from the lower bowl when entertaining clients ( and yes I am probably in a suit). I try to invite clients who actually give a crap about the game.
I also watch games ( probably in jeans and a sweatshirt) from the nosebleeds when it's my dime.
Does that make me scum on corporate days and a true fan other days, sometimes in the same week?

Jose is ranked one of the lower end caliber Right fielders in the league. His play really dropped off this year.
Theres a reason his name is Joey Bats and not Joey Glove - CanadianBodmon
By whom? What's your source for this information - Larry's sister? You are talking a very small sample size. Talk about the previous 6 seasons where he was an all star every single year and was in the top ten in MVP voting in 4 of those six years. Lots left in the tank.

that reminds me, it was so cold out i saw my lawyer with his hands in his own pockets.

He's talking specifically about his defense in response to your flawed assertion that he's an above average defender in RF.

I asked for a source - and it is your assertion that is flawed in my opinion. I offered backup, you have countered with opinion. - winsix
I countered with statistics, not opinion.
Mostly agree, Pillar will get a rest from time to time - especially against tough right handed pitchers. He hits lefties much better.
Upton will see action in all three outfield positions probably. Most in left, because Saunders is the weakest fielder defensively by a wide margin, and some right and center. Bautista is still an above average fielder. The worst defensive of on a team typically plays Left (George Bell, Manny Ramirez etc.) Smoak will be playing much less from here on in - his hitting lately, particularly with men on base has been brutal. - winsix
He's a complete mess going back on balls over his head. He's nowhere near an above average right fielder.
