Same principle with trucks.

I have a Derringer and drive a base model pick up.

I drive a Ford Ranger but shoot a .375 Ruger. Could go either way I guess.

No, no it doesn't. There's a lot of guys out here that drive these big, huge lifted trucks. I see them and think 'Hmmm, must have a tiny pecker.'

I re watched the first round of thr playoffs vs the panthers

I forgot how bad the islanders played at times. They really lucked out with a few of the games.

It would be interesting to see what ladd and chimera bring in the playoffs

To be fair pretty much anyone in his situation would say the same. That being said I do get the "lifer" feel when watching Tavares speak and think he will be an Isle for a long time yet.

Greiss was a big reason the Panthers bowed out early. Same could be said of Elliot against the Hawks.

As chiefs stated before, he could've dodged or side-stepped the question a little. But he was pretty direct with his response.

I'm confident he will signal extension. Hopefully max term. It would be nice to see more players retire with the clubs that drafted them.

Yeah, especially good guys like Doan, Stevie Y, and, and, and, drawing a complete blank. Crap. There's always the business side of it too. There's probably a lot of players that would have loved to play for the team that drafted them for their whole career, but get traded after several seasons. Ryan Smyth (sp?) didn't want to leave Edmonton, nor did Gretzky. Even though the latter was a sale.

We will never know what JT is actually thinking but he took that question head on.

Hall is a great player and all, but I never thought he'd be a lifer. Always had the feeling that he would be moved at some point.

After listening to the interview which wasnt as painful as some of his i think we put to much stock into whos on the team. Obviously hed love a top line winger but he understands it's a business and seems to really like the organization. Im sure he really liked ko and frans but he seemed fine with the fact they moved on. I think he gets signed max term next year and will be an isle for life. Ladd is a top line guy whos played top line minutes and if nothing else is even in offense with ko and better in the other two zones. Jt will resign and the isles will find another top line guy for him either through their own organization or a trade be it this year or next

Sure, it will be better than talking about politics.

Actually I don't really have anything to say about hockey. It's all been beaten to death this summer. I'm ready for training camp! It's always bittersweet. On one hand there will soon be lots of hockey. On the other the weather will turn crappy.

The local radio station here wished Dave capuano a happy birthday on my drive home, then mentioned his brother. I think they knew I was listening.
