Maybe something with a bit more power. - Isleshockeyman
While it would provide the proper stimuli, I would be genuinely concerned for the well being of MDW's marble pouch. |

Pulock should absolutely require protection, especially with hockeyman's 26 yr old stepdaughter. - JohnScammo
Hockeyman would be wise to start poking holes in her rubbers should she attract the attention of Pulock. Be a good Baby Daddy to have when he signs his 6 for 6 contract with NYI in a few years. |

Was there a train line that people took to get to the coliseum? Bellmont would mean that Suffolk fans can attend games on time again. - kindlyrick
The Coliseum was virtually impossible to reach via public transportation. It was a significant drawback. The site was selected when gasoline was 29 cents a gallon, and traffic was not nearly as bad on Hempstead Tpke.
I think spartiati's point is that the LIRR service to Belmont would help fewer people get to the game than the LIRR service to Willets Point.
Plus, Willets Point has the significant added advantage of being on a subway line. Both could better accommodate driving/parking than Barclays. |

Or, you can steal a car, drive it to the game, and make some extra dough from the many chop shops that offer their service over there. |

Its not fake, and I think there is a very good chance he stays an Isle for life, but what the hell else is the captain and best player on your team going to say.
"yeah it was nice, but can't wait to get to free agency and possibly play somewhere else."

I never said she wasn't.
As far as MDW goes, we gave him enough material this morning to last him a while. We'll just have to reset him when e blows up his belt sander. |

Yea of course, but I dunno..seems like if he thought TOR was a legitimate option that he could have dodged that question a little better. Instead of saying "I wouldn't count on it" he could have sidestepped it and said something to the effect of "that's a long way off".
Not mincing words here, I realize there's always the PR-bullsh!t factor. But he didn't have to say things in the definitive manner in which he did. |

Don't have to convince me. I think 99% chance he stays an Isle for his career.
I just don't put much stock into what they say when they are put on the spot.
Did I put the % sign in the right spot? |

I was going to type something mean & nasty here, since you teed it up, but I think all the belt sander crap is enough for a day for me.
