surprisingly enough kadri has more points, more penalty minutes and in 28 less games.

Its not surprising at all..

And Schenn doesnt bring any more in terms of physicality.. He a bit bigger but thats it.

Kinda funny Martin will make pretty much double what Holland does
- ClarksonDavid

Martin is playing a completely different role and brings different skills to the table than Holland. Frankly, I think we may have slightly overpaid for Martin but he's all heart and players on opposing teams will have their heads up a lot more as a result of him playing for us.

Leaf fans are gonna love Matt.

Anyone have a site that allows you a quick comparison of stats of two different players?

I realize it is apples to oranges, but I'd like to see the stats on Kadri vs. Brayden Schenn.

Yes, I realize Schenn has a physical element to his game that Kadri lacks.

But if I was going to try to compare apples to oranges...

Thanks in advance

the risk is giving away a roster spot.

clearly he is entitled, but what if he's not good enough? wouldnt he only sign a 1-way?

- Arctic_AARDVARK

That is not a risk on this team. Even the most optimistic Leaf fan like myself will agree that the Buds will not be serious contenders this year, rather move up a little say somewhere about 22nd or 21st overall. If he sucks, trade his ass for a pick - there will be plenty of takers, if he's good - you just bought a middle first round pick - which is what he projects as - for money and no player assets.
