TOR and Peter Holland have settled on a $1.3M salary for next season

Kinda funny Martin will make pretty much double what Holland does

Did he make it to the KHL yet? Do we need to send someone to get him too?

im interested to see what we get out of Martin - I feel he's going to help insulate the youth quite a bit.

I'm probably being overly negative but I really didn't like his game in the 8-10 Islanders games I see a season. He just reminds of Tom Wilson in that when a game gets chippy, he turns his brain off and skates over the puck constantly. He can move and dig on the boards well so hopefully he does that and doesn't take too many dumb penalties.

I hope I am wrong and I have some Islander fan friends who insist it's not as bad as I think.

not the 2.1 mil he was asking for and not the 900k the Leafs were offering.
Now can he be traded or do the Leafs need to hang on to him for a certain amount of time?

He'll be bringing more to the table than Holland.

If he used his size more he'd be worth keeping.

I had predicted $1.4 million.

So obviously I owe Lou $100,000.

Anyone have a site that allows you a quick comparison of stats of two different players?

I realize it is apples to oranges, but I'd like to see the stats on Kadri vs. Brayden Schenn.

Yes, I realize Schenn has a physical element to his game that Kadri lacks.

But if I was going to try to compare apples to oranges...

Thanks in advance

surprisingly enough kadri has more points, more penalty minutes and in 28 less games.

NHL career so far:

Schenn: -20
Kadri: -21

Schenn is clearly better.

Pretty similar players imo.

Schenn got paid on the back of a career season – including a career high shooting %.

Kadri got grinded down coming off a career low shooting % year.

I’ll take kadri over schenn based on contracts as the deciding factor.
