I do think the Sedins give Vancouver a unique situation. I think your team needs a rebuild, but it could be hard to do with the Sedins being as good as they are. They would be good assets to trade to help a rebuild, but I don't know if anyone would want only one and not the other, yet how many teams would be able to take both? Maybe Vancouver can succeed at some sort of hybrid/mini rebuild while keeping the Sedins, I dunno.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they do retire there. Not such a bad thing I guess to see two great players play out their whole career with your team. They get a lot of criticism, but they are great players that led your team within one game of the cup. Not quite enough, but damn close.

Agreed. I'm likely to get some flack for this, but the media is making Vesey out to sound like a sure thing top 6 guy on any team.. this isn't the case at all IMO. He would be a great signing if he signed for 2-3 years and would possibly spend some or most of it in the AHL, but I don't view this any differently then any free agent signing out of Europe. Some take the league by storm, but most need more time to develop or acclimate to the pro NHL game.
