having players meet and exceed expectations, even if it results in higher salary demands, are the types of challenges you want to have as a gm and organization.

I think of this every time a team like Chicago wins the cup. going all in and then having to figure out what team you are going to ice the following season after letting players walk as ufa's or move players to make cap space for rfa's... if you win it once, it is worth it. first world problems.

Never does any good to attack a blogger or insult another poster. With guys like Tanner you need to be subtle while mocking at the same time. I see there was another canucks poster that received a ban and nighthawk decided to venture into the leafs blog last night that didn't end well for him.

I am not a fan of his, reminds me of Cloutier, Esplen, Matt Berry...all just writing nonsensical drivel to create controversy and produce hits, all the while throughing his hands up and claiming shock and innocence at being attacked.

2 pieces of advice...be smarter with your posts try subtle mocking, then you will be around to still talk hockey in here. Or just stay away from and live another day, calling him a d!ck head doesn't hurt him, he probably chuckles as he sees posters banned.

And yes, I'd assume that was the same tour. Blues Traveler and Ziggy Marley were the other spotlighted bands. Honestly, my memory when I think of that day is the whole football field bouncing up and down to "Home for a Rest."

All i really remember is that some guy lost his yankees hat and me and this other guy saw it at the same time and dove to claim it... and there was this guy who must have been like 6'10" 300+ lbs who was looking to hammer a couple of guys who somehow started some shiite with his buddies and he was going to give them payback...

I had to think about that, though. I also really like Love Removal Machine and Wildflower.

i bought this box cd set of the Cult that has some really cool versions of those songs and others. I might just have to pull it out of storage... haven't listened to my cd collection in over 10 years, but i cherish that box set and my signed vinyl copy of Ozzy's Tribute album..
