thats appropriate.... this is going to be the learning year for the young guys. once a few of them get another year or two under their belts then more kids will be brought up and the need for bringing in vets will diminish

oh stop... they are very serviceable vets

the kids will inevitably get rattled and you need guys who can go out there and hold down the fort while the coaches settle the kids down.

play too many kids and you have the oilers franchise

Polaks a good #6 guy...I don't get the hate...sure there's better in the league...but Schenn certainly isnt one of them IMO.

any line up that has Hunwick and Polak on the back end is gonna be a train wreck. IMO let the kids play. Did the Oilers ever even have a young D? cant remember
