No.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but not to your own facts.

Just no.

Well this is where we get into what 'on average' actually means.

Per capita, Per number of restaurants, however you want to measure it, yes.

I didn't even know Canadian cuisine was a thing

All I can say is this, the impact that politicians has on eating and drinking establishments can't be understated
. It's the reason why a city of comparable size in North American that isn't a capital city would pale in comparison.

The Harper regime pretty much ended that influence.

The civil servant expensing dinners no longer exists.

hahahah.

Funny stuff eh?

I ate at the Tapas place on Bayview last night. They're really good. did you know it's the same owners as L'Avenue?

I tried the Belsize last week. The food was good, service was fantastic. I found the menu lacked enough options though. I struggled finding something I wanted other than their burger (which admittedly was pretty good).

Google "best food cities in the world". You'll almost always find Toronto. Sometimes Vancouver and Montreal. Never Ottawa.

Speaking about how Ottawa has two cultures mixing, which generates a good selection of restaurants, when comparing to Toronto, is flat out ridiculous. You should be ashamed of yourself. Think before you type, please.

You're welcome to your opinion. It's just not a very good one.

Good to hear, because the two times I've been there, the service has been absolute poop.

What I mean by that is over an hour to get your food. The actual wait staff are very polite, but c'mon, I can't wait over an hour for my kids to eat.

We've done the tapas place a few times. It's good.

Have you seen that Cumbrae's is going to move across the street? It's going to be huge (and probably more expensive). We probably shop there twice a year - just too damned expensive. But poop, good meat!

I can confirm this (not the breakfast, but that it's in Plymouth Harbor). I can also confirm that Plymouth Rock isn't much of a rock.

I don't hate it/them. It's not a total dump, like say, Buffalo and Edmonton. It's a reasonably unoffensive place. There is just nothing all that good about it. There is nothing there that makes you think "man it would be great to be there". It's just.... bleh.
- prock

To summarize, Holland is to hockey what Ottawa is to Canadian cities. Meh.

Got it.
