Holland has a career high of 27 points? Bozaks 49 points twice?

Peter holland career high of 27pts on the 4th line, bozak career high on the 1st line with an 80pts winger.

Bozak is better than Holland and I'm no fan of Bozak
That being said Bozak is at an age where he will start regressing while Holland is going to get better
Problem is the depth chart... As it stands atm Bozak is basically pencilled in as the 2C and that's no place for Holland right now. |

Hollands in each of the last three years has basically equaled bozak production/60 if not out done him in some instances. And that is with weaker linemates and less offensive starts.
Bozak makes 4.25mil and some think is underrated and holland who makes 5x less isn't able to be an nhl according to those same people......
Holland at his price is way better value. |

11 of holland's points came on the PP tho burn... which is a very notable piece of info you are leaving out of your argument
Although the winger tallied just 27 points on the year, 11 of those points came on the man advantage where he average 2:29 in ice time per night.

No, I addressed that. Holland had less mins on the pp than bozak and scored much more.
A lot of bozaks pts in his career years also on the pp though too.
I've compared both players 5on5 scoring over the last 3yrs and holland more goals/60 and slightly less assist/60 (holland didn't get the chance to play with kessel putting up 80pts and jvr). Their total production/60 is even.
Holland allows less shots.

Why do I have to stop saying it? I was talking about 5on5 there, so pp is irrelevant.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand that's why they put him on waivers.
When he isn't claimed, Lou has all the ammo he needs for the hearing. |

ok... then adjust your claim of point production to 16 then
since thats all he scored at even strength |

ok... i should have been clearer
bozak is at his ceiling, he won't get better
holland has the potential to get better... thats not saying he will... but the 25 - 30 window is when players these days play their most productive hockey (with the exception of superstars which neither bozak or holland are)
i still feel more comfortable with bozak in the lineup... need experience down the middle... and the idea of kadri holland and matthews as 1-2-3 seems a little light in that department |

you're a shifty lil bugger arent ya? lol
also.. using bozak's stats from last year is unfair as he had a pretty major injury mid season...argue against that point all you want but the truth is it will have effected his production due to getting back up to speed etc.
my guess is bozak will get the phaneuf treatment this year... ideal situations to pump up his value and moved at the deadline if he isnt hurt
while holland either accepts the leafs one way offer or he gets to incubate in the minors til after the deadline |

5on5 zone starts:
Holland 33% dzone, 29% ozone
Bozak 29% dzone, 38% ozone
Like I said bozak got easy starts with better linemates, and was sheltered from tough comp.
Holland started more on the defensive zone, and was still able to score equal bozak /60.

Isn't Cashner injured more often than Tulo and Lupul? |

But if you pro-rate Bozak's points, he ends up with 49 over an 82 game season. Which is exactly what he got the year previous... |
