Roughly the number of really quality restaurants for a city of that size, population-wise.
Don't get me wrong, I'd rather eat in Montreal or Toronto or New York or L.A. or London or Paris any day of the week. Alls I'm saying is that it's entirely possible to go out in Ottawa and have a really nice meal or cocktail in a lot of places, and I thoroughly enjoy doing so.

See, I'm totally cool with stating that Ottawa has some good eats and there are nice places to go for drinks or food (or both!). Absolutely agreed. Ottawa truly is a fine city and there is very little to complain about. 
But I'm not buying your baseless conjecture that somehow Ottawa is higher on the quality scale per capita than Toronto. If you can provide some sources that support this opinion I'd be more than happy to check them out. But until then, nah.. I think you're probably wrong.  |

Brandon Piri went for a 6th round pick at the trade deadline. He came of a year of scoring 20+ goals. No one wants to pay anything for 4th line players. There are better players on free agency who are willing to sign cheap contracts where holland is going to arbitration. |
