If he were to get over his massive ego, he would be an awesome hockey player and person in general.

I wanted them to suspend Varly when he was going through his stuff just so the team doesn't have to deal with the distractions, just let the legal issues clear up.

But this isnt a 2nd chance scenario with kane, you are muddying the waters here, my whole point is that the team needs to do something, if he goes through another incident and they just stand idle by, its not a great look for the org. Sabres could be good this year and they dont need the distraction of Kane and his legal issues since they are still all open. Reporters will be dragging this stuff into the locker room after every game, asking Kane, his teammates, etc if they dont do something about the guy.

and he was found innocent of his charges and actually won and was reward damages from the accuser when she tried to sue him afterwards.

But at the time I still wanted the Team to suspend him since it would be a distraction.

Kane was accused with sexual assault earlier in the year. Varly was accused of domestic assult, however Kane has had multiple incidents after that with this current issue at the bar.

All I am saying is that the team needs to optically do something, they cant just do the "we are aware of the situation" press release one more time.
