Criminal trespass sounds like refusing to leave when told. That will probably be a fine.

The non-criminal harassment counts are something very common. Usually it's a ACD staying out of trouble for 6-12 months. With him he will probably get that on top of community service. The real question is can he stay out of trouble for a year?

Pegula should suspend him for 10-20 games though.

I'm not a fan of suspending players before they have their day in court.

Sounds pretty horrific what he did (if true) but then the manager says that nothing happened.

It gets into some pretty scary territory if you start suspending guys based on allegations .

But it is not about "us" but about getting Kane treatment during that time and understanding the scenarios he puts himself into. Seems like a fair time to look into the mirror, want to be playing, but not being able to.

Nope

I suspend him (with pay) until such time as the matter is dealt with. Once it is determined whether or not he is guilty, you go from there.

In the meantime he is not to be around the team or to put on the jersey.
