it's amazing how the game has changed

for better and worse

Jets fan weighing in here (gonna skip the part where I joke about the Kane/Myers trade and Murray being bent over a barrel) if you can put Kane with the right linemates and let him loose on the other team (particularly on the rush), he could very easily hit 30 goals again. He knows how to score, he's underrated defensively, and he's a nightmare for the other team when you start cycling with the puck. He's also a child off the ice, and in my experience, tried to do too much himself. He doesn't play well with others, but only because he doesn't understand his own limitations. He has the speed, size, and puck handling to beat you wide or go through you. He does not have the hands to deke through three guys like he thinks he does. He has a VERY good shot, but he can't score with a wrister from the top of the circle like he thinks he can. The one thing that made me hold a little respect for the guy (even though most Jets fans were fed up) is that he ALWAYS played hard. Attitude? F-. Work ethic? A+. He played half a season with a tear in his shoulder and didn't complain once. That I respect. Point I'm trying to make here is that as terrible a person he's making himself out to be with these incidents, he's a very good hockey player, and Buffalo would be smart to hold on to him. He could break out in a big way this season.

If Myers retired tomorrow I couldn't care less. He's not as good as I always thought. He's better than Bogo but he's not the #1 I thought he could be.

This is coming from someone that doesn't enjoy old movies but that movie was perfect it was believable the ghost didn't look like neon lights

This one's like a Scooby Doo cartoon I can't get over when Melissa McCarthy had the proton pack riding it like it was a damn fire hose going off how is that believable

I'm saying the ghost in the old Ghostbusters is more realistic and and felt like a real movie unlike the Scooby Doo one in the new Ghostbusters

The last 20ish games of the season you started to see him actually use his linemates. Especially when he played with Eichel and Reinhart. He finally stopped the: streak down the left side, fire a shot from past the top of the circle, puck rings out and ends up back in the Sabres zone. That line had some good give and goes late in the season.

And for all his selfish play on the ice he had his wits enough about him to pass on an empty net to pass to Reinhart so he could get his first hat trick. And that was on track suit night in Winnipeg too, so you know he'd have loved to rub their noses in it even if it was just an empty netter.

The way Tucker used to dive he'd have ended up with a negative celery given the automatic fines now.

But he was always a good offensive player.

Speaking of shooting percentages he was a 13.8% lifetime shooter. Pretty damn good.

And just for reference: Thomas Vanek had a 15.1% when he played here.

not really not much at all, I gotta do some work on my truck problems are, it's got a 6" lift on it and it's 115 out. It fits in my garage because it's on over sized and I have a swamp cooler in my garage but it's no match for 116 degree heat. So working on it now isn't going to work.

Naw to be honest I do ton's of reading. I rarely comment, don't no why but ive been reading HB since about 2008. Have this habbit of reading all the comments. Some people make me laugh. Like when gerbe was told to consider him self. very funny!
