There's no reason for Pegula to be embarrassed of anything that happened before Kane was brought to Buffalo. And there's no reason for anyone to be embarrassed about Kane's fighting back against the douche who assaulted him in the Vancouver bar. There was no police action there and the civil action was dismissed.

Let Terry worry about whether he's embarrassed or not. You don't need to carry that burden.

I agree with this but would add that the CBS gives the League authority to punish a player is his off-ice behaviour threatens the reputation of the League. Nobody has to prove anything if it smells too bad.

That's what the police claim the video shows and what one of the plaintiffs claims happened. If the video gets released publicly, we'll see if that was an exaggeration. Hopefully it is but that is the allegation here. Or I should say one of them, the one that sounds most severe. The story has been updated throughout the day as more info has come out.

You know an actual felony? Also if this video gets out and he in fact did drag her the newly appointed DA would have a lot to answer to.

If the police have it as evidence I don't know what the timing for releasing it would be, or what the process for doing so is. One of the 3 apparently hasn't come forward or at least didn't initially. With them saying there was a lot of footage to go through it's probably multiple cameras, some inside, some outside, so there wouldn't be a single video. Someone from the nightclub or police would need to cut a bunch of sections out and give it to the media I guess.

I'm not carrying a thing. I'm stating my opinion on the matter. Pegula gave him a 2nd chance when one team couldn't handle him off the ice.

He's been worse. I hope he stays here and plays this year, and they get absolutely anything out of his 2 years as a Sabre if that even happens.
