I get it. I want Hockey hold itself to a higher standard of player conduct than the NFL or the NBA. I expect this is not the first time the Brass has had to deal with his distractions. If they have discussed it with him before, I'm sure they have, then they need to act. Yes it can wait to see what the facts are but he is at least guilty of a repeated lack of judgement. I might punish him immediately for that then wait for any further action on the results of the investigation.

I just meant he came out of nowhere. Trust me I'm an experienced fantasy player... Have been playing for almost 11 years. I didn't have Johnson any team and he was kind of under the radar last year even though he put up big points.

He was suspended already for missing practice. Is getting arrested not a worse offense?

No one cares about the misdemeanor, they care about a potential suspension or the second locker room turning on him because of it

He needed to do that the moment the "tracksuit" incident occurred in Winnipeg, and unless the Sabres' front office are complete inept morons, he was told that by the team. I don't care if you're 18 or 40, keeping your head down when your employer tells you to shouldn't be that difficult. And the level of tolerance for that is definitely proportional to your value to the team, which in Kane's case, isn't that high, or at least it shouldn't be given his production.

This time of year is sooooo boring
I can't stand Golf, & don't get to into baseball until playoffs

I've been rewatching some Sabres games & a bunch of various Playoff games that I have saved on the DVR

It's funny. I've probably watched more golf in the past two years than I have in the past 10 combined at least. Maybe it's a symptom of getting older, but I used to be bored by it. Last Sunday, I got up early just to watch the Stenson/Mickelson Final Round of the Open.

Saint or not, he signed an SPC which contains a moral clause that allows teams or the League to take action against a player who embarrasses them in some way. As Mike Richards shows us they are much likely to take action if the player is getting paid more than they think he is worth.

Kane will end up going some kind of evaluation/counselling system and could face team or league discipline.

IMO; TMs reaction when originally informed of Kane incident spoke volumes. The organization will not tolerate this behavior from its players. Murray said wether innocent or other wise he would have a sit down with the player. This is not the kind of publicity the organization wants. As for the out cry from some here it may result from the image Kane paints for himself. Photos with stacks of cash, helicopter rides to all star games and missing practices, makes one think of two words. "Spoiled" or "punk" are neither flattering nor an image one wants from some one who represents your organization. TM needs to be busying himself with Ristos contract and building a winning organization. Guilty or not the distractions take up too much of TMs time. Kanes value is minimal at this time, so he will start this season in Buffalo with the first attempt to move him coming at the deadline. If unsuccessful, I feel Kane will be left unprotected for Vegas.
